This photoshoot was awesome. Great backdrop, great costumes, great idea, and great execution too. Everything about this photoshoot was awesome. It was almost like looking at old fashioned pictures taken in Spain. Almost all the pictures turned out great. There’s only one or two pictures I didn’t care for, but I liked the rest of the pictures nonetheless.
1. Eugena
Wow, this is an amazing photo! Breathtaking photo! Where did this come from all of a sudden? Especially from Eugena of all people. Everything about this photo is magical. Her dancer like pose, the leg in the air, the calm, serene face, etc. Just well done overall. I especially like the calm look on her face, despite being in a close proximity of a bull, which by the way, was photoshopped in. And it only took Eugena nine weeks to come up with a photo like this? This definitely earned the first call out that it got at panel. If only she could’ve taken more photos like this. Seriously, look at her Hair Wars photo from Week 2, then look at this photo. You never would’ve guessed it was from the same person. Most improved contestant by far. Excellent job Eugena!
2. CariDee
I don’t know why the judges hated this photo so much at panel, is it because of her remark to Nigel at the photoshoot? Lol Anyways, I think this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the way CariDee is standing, especially the way she’s spreading her legs. Those legs could go on for miles! Bonus points for making herself appear taller. And I love the way she positioned her right hand as well. It’s like she’s a female bullfighter in distress, without going too over the top with emotion. Her face is breathtakingly gorgeous as well. I love how she closed her eyes as well, and managed to make her face photograph as soft as possible. Even with all the heavy make up, (particularly the eyeshadow), she has on. More bonus points there. Awesome photo all around. Both CariDee and Eugena nailed it this week.
3. Amanda
I like this photo of Amanda, but it’s not my favorite in the bunch. I do like her pose, and the way she’s holding the red cape, but her face is a little vacant. I wish she wasn’t hiding her face in her right arm, and she looks a little sleepy. But not a bad photo by any means, and I certainly wouldn’t have given her a bottom two appearance for this. She was only in the bottom two because her sister was getting eliminated. Tyra just wanted to create extra drama by placing both of them in the bottom two. And of course Amanda would be sent home next week as well. Like even the most casual watcher didn’t see that coming. Way to lazily group the twins together, Tyra.
4. Michelle
Everyone in the fandom loves this picture, but I think it’s really bland and overrated. I’m not a fan of this photo for a wide variety of reasons. First of all, Michelle’s pose is really forced. It just looks so model 101. And in the third to last week in the competition, there’s no excuse for that. She honestly looks photoshopped in, like this was taken on a green screen. Which cheapens the photo even further. The face is alright, but like her sister’s picture, she just looks sleepy. Also, unpopular opinion, I 100% agreed with her elimination. Not because she bombed the challenge at panel, but because her photo this week was just bland. I liked Michelle and everything, but I think 5th place was a good place for her. Her making it further at this point just wouldn’t really work. Especially since she didn’t really want this as much as her sister did.
5. Melrose
So this photo is pretty subpar. Everything about this photo is half assed. From her stiff pose to her stiff body language, which just reads, “I’m just taking this photo to get this over with.” I shouldn’t have to read that on a picture. Her face is just cringeworthy too. Not only does she look old, but she looks both pained and constipated as well. I don’t get this picture at all. This is easily the weakest photo in the bunch, yet the judges seemed to love this photo for some reason I’ll never know. Not Melrose’s best.
